- What does it cost?
- Download is free with a 3-day trial. After that, $9 one-time for a lifetime license (2 Macs) and free updates forever. No subscription.
- How do I download?
- Go to lovi.sh/dockcleaner and click Download Now. No payment required to get the app.
- How do I buy and activate a license?
- Buy on lovi.sh/dockcleaner (or Purchase License in the app). Checkout runs through Polar. Paste the license key in Settings → Activate License. Manage devices anytime in the Polar customer portal.
- Does it need Accessibility permission?
- No. Current features use standard open and quit APIs only.
- How does Launch at Login work?
- In Settings, turn on Launch at Login. DockCleaner registers as a macOS Login Item (SMAppService). You can also manage login items under System Settings > General > Login Items.
- I hid the menu bar icon. Did the app disappear?
- No. If the menu bar icon is off, DockCleaner stays in the Dock so it never becomes fully invisible. Use the Dock icon to reopen it.
- Can I force quit apps?
- DockCleaner uses graceful quit only. Locked system apps (for example Finder) are not quittable from DockCleaner.
- Does DockCleaner collect my data?
- No. App lists, usage ranking, and settings stay on your Mac. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
